BIG HEARTED staff at Barclays Bank in Saltcoats are giving a helping hand this Christmas by gathering goods and treats for North Ayrshire Women’s Aid.
The staff, with help from Sainsbury’s who have provided the trolley, are looking for generous customers and locals to dig deep to see if they can fill the trolley for the second year in a row.
The staff are looking to collect toys, sweets, selection boxes and other treats to pass on to those who need them most, through the Women’s Aid.
Organiser Fiona said: “We have picked Women’s Aid again because we know the situation that some of these women are in and it is always good to cheer someone up at Christmas.” The trolley will be in the branch until Friday, December 19. The local branch is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am-4.30pm.
Keep an eye out in next week’s Herald for this year’s trolley, which they are hoping to fill as quickly as possible.
