A STEVENSTON man has been charged with removing boys pants from a washing line and posting obscene letters through his door.
Martyn Hart, of Todhill Country Centre in Dubbs Road, is accused of placing a woman and her son in a state of fear following an alleged tirade over a two week period in 2012.
The 26-year-old was last week charged with engaging in a course of conduct between July 27 and August 10 2012.
It is alleged he entered the front and back garden of a house in Saltcoats, repeatedly knocked on the door of the house asking the woman and her son to go to the beach. He is further accused of giving the woman a ball and a CD and posting a number of letters through the door.
When he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week, Hart was also accused of removing a pair of the woman’s son’s pants from the washing line, committing a sex act involving said underwear and posting them through the letterbox.
It is alleged this was accompanied by a handwritten note addressed to the boy which had a number of inapproriate statements written on it.
The case was adjourned without plea until December 23 for the court to obtain a psychiatric report.
