THE Saltcoats thug caged for sending letter bombs to ex-Celtic manager Neil Lennon will never see the inside of Ibrox again.
The club issued a lifetime ban against Neil McKenzie after he was pictured in the ground with his sons at the Queen of the South match.
McKenzie, 45, was jailed in July 2012 along with Trevor Muirhead, 47, from Kilwinning for a letter bomb campaign targeted at the Celtic gaffer and prominent fans former MSP Trish Godman and the late Paul McBride QC.
The first letter sent to Lennon in March, 2011, contained a crude device containing what was believed to be the explosive triacetone triperoxide.
Charges of conspiracy to murder were dropped as it was found the devices could not have gone off, but both were convicted of conspiring to assault and caged for five years.
McKenzie was freed in June last year and Muirhead was released in September.
The ban will prevent McKenzie from attending away matches as well as Ibrox.
A statement issued by the club last week said: “Rangers can confirm Mr McKenzie has been banned from attending all matches involving the club.”
