AN ARDROSSAN man has spoken out about his living nightmare after being admitted to A&E at Crosshouse Hospital.
Last Tuesday, Scott Mould went to the out-of-hours surgery at Ayrshire Central in Irvine with chest pains.
Doctors there called an ambulance to take him to Crosshouse Hospital where he was admitted to A&E around 10pm.
Scott received attention straight away and was connected to a heart monitor.
However, staff were unable to find a bed for him and he was sat in a chair in the assessment unit – until 8.30am the next morning.
