POTTERS Bar in Stevenston will be fundraising central next weekend as a local woman gets the chops to raise money for North Ayrshire Cancer Care.
Jackie Kean, from Stevenston will be getting her hair shaved off, which will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, and is hoping to raise as much as possible.
Also on the day, there will be a sponsored walk to raise funds to go towards the Stevenston Christmas Lights.
On Sunday there will be a walk from Potters which will be five and a half miles long and anyone wishing to take part can pick up a sponsor form from the pub.
Entertainment will be on from 3-7pm with tickets costing nothing at all.
Jackie’s hair shave will take place at 6pm and she decided to get this done because her mum’s hair fell out during cancer treatment and her dad and a few friends have had treatment and she feels that she would like to give a little back as a way of saying thank you.
