INTREPID fundraiser Scott Brown is taking to the seas on Sunday to attempt to kayak from Ardrossan to Arran in aid of The Butterfly Club. Scott, from Dundonald, will be starting his latest adventure at 6am on Sunday morning where he will make the 13 mile crossing to the island. Scott said: “The water out there is dangerous with strong tides and fierce weather so hopefully luck will be on my side on the day.
“A safety boat will follow me across then bring me back after I complete it. “The crossing is 13 tough miles and without no time in the water or practice this will be tough.
