Knife attack in West Kilbride is admitted
A 20-year-old man has admitted to assaulting and injuring another man and attempting to strike him with a knife.
Jason Williamson John Callaghan pled guilty to one charge of Assault to Injury at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
Callaghan, whose address is given as being under the care of Allan Kerr Solicitors in Kilmarnock, carried out the assault on July 31 at the man’s home in West Kilbride.
He fought with the man and attempted to strike him on the body with a knife to his injury.
Callaghan will return to the court for sentencing next month following reports.
