CLAN HUNTER GATHERING
THE International Clan Gathering held at Hunterston Castle in July ended with a highly successful trip to Island of Arran on Monday.
The clan have three occasions each year with a social weekend gathering in January, a clan AGM in April and a castle open day in September - and they are keen to recruit local Hunters to join the ranks. The International Clan Gathering is held every three years and always attracts Clan Members World Wide.
The clan participated in a re-enactment event, with archery and weapon displays, and various event on the castle grounds. At night there was a dinner in the West Kilbride Masonic Hall and on Monday the troops braved the rough Scottish summer for a tour around the isle of Arran.
