A MAJOR accolade was handed over to an Ardrossan Accies Rugby Club stalwart when Glasgow Warriors visited to show off their silverware from last season.
Accies had a visit from Warriors players ahead of their recent clash with Racing 92 at Kilmarnock Football Clubs, Rugby Park due to the pitches at Scotstoun being unplayable.
The night was extra special for the Memorial Field club as Terry Bauld, youth convener and ladies and girls coach, who had been nominated and successfully voted BT Volunteer of the Month.
She was presented with her award as part of the visit.
Warriors players Grayson Hart and Fergus Scott took part in a question and answer session with Accies youth players before giving up their time to do photos and signings with the Guinness Pro12 Trophy which the team won back in May.
The night was a major success and players, coaches and parents and would like to thank Glasgow Warriors for their support.
