THE Kilwinning Premier League and championship players held their annual Darts Ryder Cup event at room 501 Taylors last Tuesday and as ever, competition was intense.

The Dart Vaders led by Captain Neil King retained the trophy after an 8-7victory over Graham Muir's Dart Foundation.

It was an unlikely victory as they were two down with three to play in the singles and they rattled off three straight wins to retain the trophy they won last year.

The format was two rounds of doubles with the second round of doubles being a double start. This was followed by eight single matches.

All matches were best of four.
