She said: "I am delighted to take on the role, having been a member of the club since establishment I feel I can further develop and support our club, having been involved in the eight years of hard work to reach where we are today. The club plays a huge part in my life, and I will take great pride in doing everything I can to assist my second family."

Halle will be assisted in her new post by Mark Stringer who has taken up the role of Coach Development officer within the club.

Mark is a highly experienced coach with extensive background in the sport. He has been an active part of the clubs coaching structure for the last two years and we are delighted that he is taking on this lead role to help develop our staff.

"I've been really impressed with the club since I joined the coaching team, there is a lot of exciting stuff happening and I'm delighted to assist the coaches in their development to ensure our athletes reach their full potential. The club is going places and it's great to be a part of it," said Mark.

Club president Blair Pettigrew added: "We are delighted with both of these appointments and are confident they will strengthen the club's coach structure and further develop the pathways into the club whilst retaining the great talent we already have, as Mark said the club is going places, there has been a lot of hard work behind the scenes and all that work and planning is starting to come to fruition.

"On behalf of all the club members and all associated with the club I'd like to welcome Halle and Mark and wish them all the best in their new roles."
