The day's racing took place under some very stiff breezes challenging the talents of all rowers and cox's Firth Of Clyde Coastal rowing were rewarded with two first places in the open men and open mixed categories give them a haul of 10 gold medals. The ladies open team were very narrowly thwarted in the attempt to gain a third first place for the club and finished in a very creditable second.

The entire event was well organised b the first-time host club.
