THREE Towns team TASS Thistle FC held their annual presentation of prizes in Auchenharvie Academy last Wednesday.

Handing over the accolades were Killie player Greg Taylor and former TASS player Billy Gilmour, who moved on to Rangers and recently signed a deal with Premiership champions Chelsea.

Also present was John Wood, secretary of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Scotland and for the third year running he handed over an award to someone who has done the most to promote the club. This year's honour went to treasurer Tony Murney.

Main achievers last season were the Tass 2003s, who won the Paisley and District League and League Cup. Player of the year was Callum Wardrope, Players' Player was Kai Pearson and Top goalscorer was Dylan Cassidy. Joint Parents' Players of the year were Ben Rodgers and Taylor Colvin.

The 2004s won the Scotland Cup at the Ayr International Youth Football Tournament at Dam Park.

The Under-19s were Paisley and District League champions and League Cup winners. Their winners were, Player of the Year and Players' Player: Jack McWilliams; Most Improved Player: Jamie Taggart and Top Goalscorer: Jack Ewing.

The club also received £5000 from Tesco through their Bags For Help scheme.

All kids in the club were presented with a medal on the night.
