Week Three, Bar one

ANOTHER good Monday night of darts action saw players do battle in a round robin format, with the top 2 from each group qualifying for the quarter finals on the night! And with double points on offer it was all to play for.

The last eight saw Group A Winner John Hall overcome Group D Runner Up Kevin Mckinney 3-0.

However Group B Winner Chris Lynn lost out in a last leg decider 3-2, to Group C runner-up Peter McGuiness.

Winner of Group C, Andy Boulton also picked up a 3-0 victory against Group B's Hannah Bell and Peter McGuiness Jnr, the runner-up from Group A completed the last-four line up, defeating Jim Reid 3-0.

The semi-final turned out to be a battle between the qualifying players from Groups A and C.

In the final. the group winners came out on top, John Hall defeating Peter McGuiness 3-1 and Andy Boulton closing out a 3-0 win over Peter McGuiness Jnr.

In a very high-scoring final, John Hall missed a crucial shot at a double to force a decider and Andy took full advantage, picking up his second successive winning week with a 3-1 win. Another busy week on the highest outshot week saw Chris Lynn claim the bonus points with a 160 outshot!

A singles tournament will be held each week, with Summer League ranking points awarded dependent on final positions.

This competition is open to all.

Entry Fee is £2 per week and there is an 8pm start.

Only players who have played in a minimum of four qualifying weeks will be eligible for the Grand Finals.

Some weeks will include bonus events. Game formats will be changed about each week and will depend on numbers.

Everyone is welcome irrelevant of what League you play in, what standard you play at, what Facebook opinions you may have or even if you would just like a change of scenery. All are welcome.
