Clyde Coast Ladies Domino League

FRANCES Reid is the 2017 Scottish Singles Champion.

The Jack’s Corner Ladies player recently captured the title at the official three-year venue partner to Scottish Dominoes, the Airdrie Workingmen’s Club - making her the first woman to win the Championship. Her run to the Final saw her dispose of several female players and in the Final itself she faced fellow Jack’s Corner player Dougie McKie who captains Jack’s B men’s team. In a tense and very keenly contested match Frances emerged victorious to add the National Singles title to the Doubles Championship she won last year. She also qualifies for the Scottish Top Spot Finals later in the year. Frances is pictured proudly displaying her award.
