NEW Ardrossan Winton Rovers boss Stevie Wilson is set to make changes in the summer as he puts his stamp on the club.

And he wants to make Winton Park a place teams fear to visit.

Wilson, who steered Irvine Vics to promotion, is currently assessing the squad and determining who he might bring in.

He said: "I'm in the process of talking to the squad and there's no doubt players will be moving on and others coming in. We are currently identifying targets for the new season. There were too many easy points for other teams at Winton Park last season - we won only three league games at home which is not good enough. We must make Winton Park a difficult place to come."

Meanwhile Kilbirnie Ladeside will bid for a place in the final of the Ayrshire Weekly Press Cup tonight (Wednesday). They host Largs Thistle in the last four after defeating Cumnock 3-1 away a week ago.

Boss Budgie McGhie said: "It's a good opportunity for us to reach a final but we will not be taking Largs lightly as they beat us in the Ardagh Glass League Cup earlier in the season."

Beith face a long trip south to face Girvan in a quarter-final tonight.

Boss Johnny Millar said: "We only beat them 1-0 in the league so it will be tough and the winners faces a tough tie against Auchinleck but we will go there to win the game."
