TWO-time winners and current league champions West Kilbride went top of the table for the first time this season after a convincing win over a depleted Kilbirnie side.
And there was bonus point wins for Kilwinning, Ardrossan and Saltcoats as the league gets towards the half way point in the season.
West Kilbride took full advantage of Kilbirnie missing a few players to record a home win and pick up a bonus point at the same time. They won by 90 shots to 59 therefore winning by 31 shots to secure a 3-0 win.
Kilwinning moved back up the table thanks to a good win against Fairlie BC by 87 shots to 51 at home and in a night of home wins, Ardrossan were the only team to get into three figures after a dominant win over Ardeer Rec by 109 shots to 59 to keep them in touch with the league leaders.
Dalry and Glengarnock, who were league leaders going into Friday lost out by just two shots away to Ardeer who won 2-1 after a 77-75 shot win.
Elsewhere, the Times photographer took in Largs and Skelmorlie as the home side picked up their second win of the season leaving Skelmorlie rooted to the bottom of the table and still without a single point.
Saltcoats were the other big winners on the night as they got three points after a crushing win over Largs Halkshill by 96 shots to just 48.
As the league enters week six, it is all to play for and first take on third as West Kilbride travel to Dalry, Kilbirnie will look to bounce back as they host Kilwinning, Ardrossan travel to Largs Halkshill, Skelmorlie welcome Ardeer and the Rec take on Fairlie.
