WEST Kilbride continued on their quest for a third North Ayrshire Bowling League title in a row with a strong away win to Dalry and Glengarnock on Friday night.
And with other teams faltering, the top side extended their lead at the summit of the table by a point in a week where only one winning bonus point was awarded and no teams reached the 100 shot mark.
In the game of the night, Kilbirnie BC hosted Kilwinning BC and it went right down to the wire but crucially Kilbirnie held on to win by a solitary shot over their rivals in the fight to finish in the top four.
The game finished 79-78 meaning that Kilwinning lost for just the second game this season.
