SATURDAY was a hugely memorable day for some of the boys and girls of Kilwinning Community Football Academy.
They they were invited to walk in the annual Marymass Parade.
Well done to the players who represented their group, some of whom walked the entire parade from first thing on Saturday morning. They were a credit to the academy, themselves and their parents.
With more than 2000 flyers given out over the duration of the event it's going to be a busy week welcoming all our new players and coaches who have already been in touch to join up with the Academy.
Overall it was a fantastic day and a massive thanks to all the organisers for the invite and the youth coaches Martyn and Wullie for leading the group. Not forgetting everyone watching the parade who cheered and spoke to all of their players as they walked along the route.
Well done to Winston, the Academy horse for the day, who won Best Dressed and Overall champion at the judging.
