THE hotly anticipated William Hill Scottish Cup clash between Beith Juniors and Ayr United is set to be an all-ticket affair.

And Beith fans can get their hands on briefs for the match from this weekend.

Johnny Millar's West Region Premier Division champions will square up to the Ladbrokes Championship leaders and League One winners from last season at Bellsdale Park on Saturday, November 24, with admission confirmed on Tuesday as £12 and £6 for concessions.

The Ayr United end will be all-ticket. Ayr will sell these to their fans and the Somerset Park club have requested an initial 1000 tickets.

Following discussions with the Police, the Beith end will be for the moment all-ticket.

Tickets will be available at Bellsdale at the following times:

Saturday, November 10, 9am-11am; Monday, November 12, 6pm-7pm; Thursday, November 15, 6pm-7pm; Saturday, November 17, 9am-11am and then throughout the Largs match that afternoon

Tickets will be sold on a first-come first-served basis.

Beith boss Johnny Millar expects Bellsdale to be packed to the gunnels.

He said: "We had 1800 at the Morton game two years ago but there were spaces and I'm hopeful we will get a full house of 2000. It's a tie we really look forward to and let's hope Ayr know they have been in a game by the end of it."

The boss was pleased to pick up another league win at Renfrew on Saturday.

He said: "We played very well in the first half but took our foot off the gas in the second. It was important to win, we are at Renfrew for a West of Scotland Cup tie on Saturday and hopefully can get through."

Meanwhile Ardrossan Winton Rovers manager Stevie Wilson is relishing the prospect of locking horns with former team-mate Murdie MacKinnon on Saturday.

The former Irvine Meadow coach will be in the opposing dug out when Pollok head to Winton Park for an Ardagh Group West of Scotland Cup tie.

He recently took over the reins at Newlandsfield Park and helped mastermind victory in the Macron Scottish Junior Cup replay at Cumnock on Saturday.

Wilson said: "I know Murdie from playing alongside him at Benburb and he has been doing well at Pollok. There's no doubt the game will be a massive ask but we have shown before we can compete against Premier Division opposition so we will give it our best shot."

The gaffer was disappointed to lose 4-2 at Blantyre on Saturday and added: "At 2-1 up we should have seen the game out and had other chances but we lost some really daft goals and that cost us."
