TOP young boxing talent from Irvine and across North Ayrshire converged on Ardrossan Civic Centre on Saturday night as a long-established club held a show there for the first time.
Irvine Vineburgh Boxing Club voted the event a major success.
More than 200 people from around the area took in the action.
Trainer Alex Mullen said: "This is the first time we have held a show at the Civic Centre and it's a great venue, we would do it again. The fights were good and there was a great atmosphere. We have some talented young boxers in North Ayrshire."
Mason Salmon (11) from Kilwinning was victorious in a 30 kg contest, while Brooke Neely (13) of Stevenson, the reigning Scottish and Western Schoolgirls champion was triumphant in a 46 kg contest.
