FIVE North Ayrshire Ice Hockey Club players have been honoured after being selected for the Scotland Conference Squad for 2018/2019.
The lucky players are, as follows:
Under-11 squad
Caiden MacColl - Netminder (10) from Ardrossan attends Stanley Primary School, plays for NAIHC Penguins U12. This is Caiden's 1st call up for Scotland.
Lennon Deeney - Forward (9) from Port Glasgow and attends St Johns Primary School, plays for NAIHC Sabres U10 & Penguins U12. This is also Lennon's first call-up for Scotland.
Under-13 squad
Flynn Massie - forward (11) from Ardrossan, attends Stanley Primary School, plays for NAIHC Penguins U12 (Captain) & Stars U14. This is Flynn's second year to be selected. He was Captain of the U11's team last year.
Liam Houston - forward (11) from Saltcoats, attends St Peter's Primary School, plays for NAIHC Penguins U12 & Stars U14. This is Liam's 3rd year of successful selection into Scotland Squad.
Under-17 Squad
Zak Kenneth - forward (16) from Renfrew, attends Trinity High School, plays for NAIHC Devils U20. This is Zak's second year to be selected.
Each team will continue to train in preparation for their trip to Bratislava at Easter for a tournament where they will compete against teams from all over Europe.
The club are very proud of all the hard work the players have put in and their commitment to their sport is now being rewarded.
