KILBIRNIE LADESIDE 0
RENFREW 3
LADESIDE look to be in grave danger of relegation, following a bitterly disappointing home defeat against improving Renfrew.
The home side dominated the opening half hour but once again failed to capitalise on their possession.
Disappointingly, they passed up a whole host of chances, hitting the post in the process on what was a hugely frustrating afternoon.
Renfrew went ahead in 20 minutes and after going a goal behind the hosts lacked belief. They found it hard to pick themselves up. Fifteen minutes later, the visitors doubled their advantage and it looked like game over.
The third goal came 10 minutes from time but the match had already been won.
It will now be a huge task for the team to preserve their top-flight status and a big effort will be needed in their remaining matches.
KILBIRNIE LADESIDE: Wilton; Woods, Mitchell, Reon, O’Byrne, McGuinness, McVey, Burbidge, Ramsey. Subs: McGill, Hughes, Gray, Hynes, McKay.
