CLARK Drive Girls Under-13s girls turned in a first class performance on Saturday morning against a young Tass team who played their first game together at Marress.

Two girls were making their Drive debuts, with Abbey McDowell and Lara Steel both doing exceptionally well after being welcomed to the club.

They scored some great goals today with Josslyn Fletcher, Amiee Taggart and Abbey all on target.

The most pleasing aspect of today's game was the passing and movement of all the players.

Now the team look forward to two good training sessions at Marress and a league fixture away to Ayr.

THE Drive Girls Under-16 team played their first competitive match of 2016 at home to Morton 15s and produced a solid performance.

With the regular goalkeeper injured, Shannon Dearie had a great game, covering the nets and did herself and the team proud.

The Drive girls left Marress with the three points after goals came from Megan Armstrong ( 2), Nicole Storie (2) and Devon Cunningham.

The highlight. came when left-back Rosy McMillan made a cracking run and netting her first Drive goal as the hosts ran out 6-2 winners.

The girls performed very well and clearly all the hard work at training is paying off.

They are now preparing for a game away to Ayr.

CLARK Drive Girls Under-9s had a great time down at the Fun Fours at Prestwick on Sunday morning.

They were able to field three teams, with everyone playing five and 10 minute games and already you can see an improvement in the players.

The girls played some lovely football and scored plenty of goals.

A big thanks to Stuart Mathieson who stepped up to help with one of the teams and was able to match coach Ross Paul with a 100 per cent record.

Also a big thanks to all our parents and grandparents who came to support the girls.

This weekend's Fun Fours are at Greenwood Academy at a time to be confirmed.

Drive would like to thank all parents and guardians for their continued support of the girls. Graeme did an excellent job lining the parks once again.
