CLARK DRIVE Girls Under-9s enjoyed a great day at the Fun Fours at Greenwood Academy on Sunday.

Again they were able to field three teams with all the players producing excellent performances.

The group train at Marress on Tuesdays and Thursdays and play Fun Fours every Sunday.

THE CLARK DRIVE U11 Development Team were at Prestwick against Caledonian in glorious sunshine.

The girls were a credit to the club, pressing and constantly trying to pass the ball and played three 15-minute halves and scored plenty of goals, Katie Matchett and Miya Wilson each scored four, Stacey netted two two and Charlotte and Lauren one apiece.

Emily settled well in defence with Charlotte. Chloe worked well up front and was unlucky not to score on numerous occasions. Simran did well in goals excellent.

Highlight of the game was a goal from Miya set up by Stacey.

Meanwhile the other Clark Drive U11s team were away to Bonnyton Black on the astroturf. The squad comprised Evie, Jodi, Vanessa, Jadyn, Aimee, Millie, Amie and Lori.

Special thanks go to both Evie and Vanessa who played in goals each half and Lori had a very solid game.

CLARK DRIVE Girls U13s travelled South on Saturday to play Ayr United in a league match. Both teams produced a feast of goals at the Old Racecourse, with the Drive girls winning 12-5. Scorers were Jossyln Fletcher, Abbey McDowall, Aimee Taggart and three girls opened their Drive accounts- Morgan Tait, Lara Steel and Clara Cunningham.

CLARK DRIVE U15s also played Ayr at Belmont Academy with the Irvine side winning 8-3 and Devon Cunningham netting a hat-trick. New goalie Kira Inglis made an impressive debut for the Irvine team.

Now the girls prepare for their 3rd league game away to Port Glasgow on Saturday.

Drive Girls are holding e have a 'Night with Sally Buxton' fundraiser next Thursday, March 31, t Irvine Sports Club. Tickets are available to buy during our training sessions from the club's bar area priced £7 each. Raffle donations will be appreciated.
