ARDROSSAN CASTLE ROVERS 2
CASTLE travelled to Ayr to face the relegation battlers and came away with a huge three points that will go a long way in this promotion hunt.
The visitors took the lead when a David McLeod corner was headed home by Maxwell Davidson. Shortly afterwards it was 2-0 when the ball broke to William Dunlop who netted.
The boys missed a barrowload of chances and the home side got a goal back and piled the pressure on late in the match.
But the visitors ground it out to secure another great three points on the road.
The club's man-of the-match sponsored by Spicy Hut Ardrossan was Maxwell Davidson.
