CLARK Drive Girls finished off the first half of their season with a fantastic festival at Marress on Sunday.

More than 160 girls took part with the U9s, U11s, and U13s blues and white rounding off the campaign so far. They look forward to another exciting chapter in August

There were plenty of high points throughout the season with all teams involved in various Festivals.

The U13s blues won at Dumfries, beating Heston 4-0 in the final and finished runners-up in both the Ayr international Cup, losing 4-3 to Queen of the South and in the Giffnock Tournament, they we won three, drew one, scored eight goals and never conceded, although they were awarded the Fair Play Trophy. They are especially pleased with our U9s and U11s, who continue to improve week-by-week

At the last count, they had had 20 players at 9s and 24 at 11s, which hopefully helps them we move forward as a club.

As always they are supported by our parents who give the girls great backing throughout the season and now look forward to their summer camp on July 24 before resuming training on August 2.

The club hope all their players have a good break.
