DIRRANS ATHLETIC 2
HURLFORD AFC 2
SPIRITED Dirrans blasted back from behind to secure a point in an evenly-matched contest.
Playing on the Kilwinning Sports Club astroturf pitch, Dirrans went ahead courtesy of a John Pirie goal.
However Hurlford then scored twice to take the lead.
The home side kept pressing and levelled through Calvin Kemp before half-time.
There were no more goals in the second half with both teams happy to take a point in what was a hard-fought end-to-end game played in testing conditions.
The Kilwinning team are just two points off top spot in what is a very tight league.
DIRRANS ATHLETIC: Stewart; Walker, Frew, Muir, Wallace, Lockhart (Hynard); Kiefer, Boyd, Kemp, Stevenson, Pirie.
