ARDROSSAN WINTON ROVERS sacked manager John Garroch on Friday night despite the club chalking up a vital win to escape relegation.

Now former Whitletts Victoria boss Jim Geddes set to be installed as his successor later in the week.

And the axed boss has reacted angrily after claiming that he heard first through supporters during the match that he was losing his job,

Winton Park attracted its biggest crowd in more than 10 years with 450 punters turning out as they took on promotion contenders Kilsyth Rangers, knowing only a win would be good enough to consolidate their place in the Super First Division following their District League title success 12 months earlier.
