A RALLYING call has been sent out to his players by Kilbirnie Ladeside boss Mark Bradley they go all out for a victory which could ensure top-flight survival.

But the Garnock Valley side could hardly have a tougher task in their final Super League Premier Division match as they make the short trip to Guy's Meadow to face leaders Kirkintilloch Rob Roy on Saturday.

The weekend hosts are going all out for the league title with Auchinleck Talbot and Glenafton Athletic and will have no sympathy for the plight of Ladeside.

Ladeside have been out of competitive action for a month and have lost four of their last five league games with their form dip coming at the worst possible time.

However, victory would take them seven points clear of third bottom Kilwinning Rangers, who have three games remaining, while defeat would leave them danger of going into the nail-biting end-of-season Premier Division playoff.

Bradley said: "We have been preparing for this game for a while and although there have been no competitive games I have arranged friendlies and training sessions and the good thing is that we have no injury problems."

The Valefield Park boss is more used to hitting the heights as he masterminded former club Linlithgow Rose to East League success in 2013.

And the former Hearts player, who took over from Stephen Swift midway through the season, admits this is new territory for him and said: "I was used to league and cup success at Linlithgow but Kilbirnie are established in the Premier Division and worked hard to get there. Now we want to make sure we keep playing at this level as this is where we want to be."

He feels they can go into the game with some confidence and added: "We have played much better against the bigger teams and lifted our game against them. We have beaten Pollok at home and Auchinleck Talbot away. The guys are really looking forward to the game and we know what is at stake.

"Rob Roy are at the top on merit and we know it's going to be difficult but we must go there and try to take the three points. The players must have the right mentality and attitude and have to give 100 per cent.

"Victory gives us a chance to stay up as the pressure would be on the teams below to catch us. I am hopeful we can win the game."
