BAR ONE THREE TOWNS DARTS LEAGUE THIS week’s action saw nothing but close games across the board as the pressure of the final fixtures begins to show on all teams, as the end of the season gets ever closer.

Jacks Corner came close to a shock result when they visited second placed Bar One B and took them into a last leg decider.

However it was the home side who hung on and clinched the match 6-4. This now moves the Bar One B to within one point of the league leaders Bar One C, who had a free week. Bobby’s Bar hold onto third spot after a small scare from the ever-improving Nonsuch.

The Nonsuch, who sit bottom of the table, battled it out but in the end lost out 7-3. The Alton remain in fourth after completing a 6-4 away win at the Elms. A result that sees the Elms lose three in succession and fall into the bottom three of the league table.

Another 6-4 result was battled out at Castlehill Vaults. It was visitors Bar One A who were the team that came out on top and a result that gives them a strong chance to finish in the leagues top 4, as they close in on the Alton. The final game this week took place at the bottom of the table and ,as you may of guessed, the score ended up 6-4.

Cross Keys took a 5-1 lead after the singles and a mini fightback did take place from Revels, who were the home side. However it was Cross Keys who claimed the victory and continue their good run of form to win their third game in a row. Cross Keys lift themselves out of the bottom 3 for the first time since 13th January 2014, where as Revels will now find it very hard not to finish in the bottom two.
