FOR the fourth time this season Garnock suffered a defeat in which their opponents failed to cross their try line and had to rely on their kicker's ability to convert penalties.
The latest game saw Garnock make the longish journey to Wigtown to take on Newton Stewart in a tense relegation struggle.
Garnock welcomed Stuart White, back after a long-term injury and Ross Wilson, Chris O'Donnell and Chris Spears back to the 1st XV Squad. Jamie McNab started at scrum half due to injuries to Paul Johnston and Paul McCrorie.
