THE ACCIES Second XV travelled to a snowy Lenzie RFC on Saturday for a fast-paced, try-laden encounter.
Once again the Ardrossan team was bolstered by several high calibre players returning from injury, adding their weight in an uncompromising assault on their opposition.
Captain Calum Wilson wisely elected to receive the kick-off with the sharp wind and wintery sun on the Accies backs - a decision that rewarded the Ayrshire men with a try after two phases of play.
