ACCIES welcomed Dumfries to the Memorial field for the seventh game of the league.
The match programme listed Ross McDougall in at centre for the unavailable Jamie McKee and the return of Stewart Lamont and Nathan Welsh in the back row. Accies hoped to get their game back on track after last week’s comprehensive defeat at Whitecraigs.
In perfect conditions Dumfries kicked off , the ball was spilled giving Accies the first scrum of the match where they were awarded a penalty for Dumfries straying offside, Alan Wilson kicked for an attacking lineout but any advantage was lost when the referee awarded a free-kick to Dumfries.
