Tom Hamilton

HAMILTON - Tom Youngest and beloved son of the late Jim and Ina Hamilton of Corrie Crescent, Saltcoats and youngest brother of Margaret, Jean, Joanne, John and (Jim-deceased 2015). Tom, aged 54, died peacefully at Crosshouse Hospital on Tuesday 16th June and is so sorely missed by his family. Tom lived at Wheatley Gardens and loved the support and care given by Josie Bruce and her staff and the regular visits from his cousin Ann Innes. Tom had a love of music and was a regular performer at the Irvine Folk Club and played many Scottish folk songs for his family. A special thanks also to Johnny Caddell who inspired and supported Tom for many years. Tom was a special brother to his siblings and uncle and great uncle to nieces and nephews in Scotland and Australia. We shared many happy memories with Tom and will remember him always. “Gone is the face we loved so dear, silent is the voice we loved to hear, to far away for sight or speech, but not to far for thought to reach, lovely to remember Tom who once was here, forever in our hearts we hold you near".
