THE MARINE LICENSING (PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2013

Notice is hereby given that Ramboll, on behalf of Peel Ports Group, plans to hold a pre-application consultation event regarding a proposed licensable activity at Ardrossan Ferry Terminal (central grid reference: 55.6398°N, 4.8236°W (WGS84)).

The activity consists of redevelopment works at Ardrossan Ferry Terminal in order to create a longer berth to accommodate a new 102 m ferry that will enter service summer 2018. The works will involve moving the bankseat of the existing linkspan bridge and increasing the length of the existing quay wall.

Comments should be made no later than 7 days after the consultation event above.

Comments should be dated and should clearly state the name (in block capitals) and full return email or postal address of those making comment. Comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the Scottish Ministers. If Peel Ports Group submit an application for a marine licence to Scottish Ministers, an opportunity will be given for representations to be made to the Scottish Ministers on the application.
