THE teenage boy electrocuted and set ablaze in Ardrossan last week is now said to be in a ‘stable’ condition and has regained consciousness.
Thirteen-year-old Kieron Jenkinson of Stanley Road was engulfed by flames after being hit by 25,000 volts from overhead power lines at the railway bridge on Dalry Road suffering horrific burns to 55 per cent of his body.
The Ardrossan Acdemy pupil was placed in an induced coma but is now conscious and able to talk to his family from his bed in the Burns Unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
He was transferred there from the Intensive Care Unit earlier this week.
Mum Donna Graham said: “He is still quite delirious.
"It’s been a real struggle but we’re just taking it one day at a time.”
