THERE was quite a buzz – literally – at Whitehirst Park Primary School in Kilwinning last week as four plucky pupils went under the razor in front of the whole school for a good cause.
In a case of ‘hair today, shorn tomorrow’ it was a close shave for nut jobs Ryan O’Connor, Jack McAuley, Lewis Dakin and Lewis Burns, who helped to raise cash in aid of the Ayrshire Hospice.
The brave baldies will definitely be feeling the fresh air around their ears now but they’re proud to say the Hospice is £500 better off.
Don’t worry lads – it grows back!
