OFFICERS from the Ayrshire Police Division are warning cyclists to secure their bikes or face thieves taking their goods.
According to the police, more than 500,000 bikes are stolen in the UK each year because they’re poorly secured or not secured at all. More than half of all bikes stolen are taken from the owner’s property.
If you know someone involved in cycle theft, call Police Scotland on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
