A LOCAL supermarket recently pulled together and raised almost £1,500 for charity.
Staff from Tesco Stores, Kilbirnie organised a summer funday in aid of the Greig Steven memorial fund. Staff played music, made home baking and ran bottle stall and Beat the Goalie as well as a bouncy castle all in aid of a great cause. Store manager Andrew Mexson was delighted with the generosity of customers once again as a grand total of £1500 was raised for the fund.
Andrew is pictured with staff handing over the cheque to Greig’s parents at the supermarket.
