THE Reverend Jim Teasdale has left St Margaret’s Parish Church, Dalry, where he has been Minister for seven and a half years.
Jim, a popular, well-known and much-loved chap, takes up a new post at Eastwood Parish Church, in Glasgow, early next month.
In a packed church hall on Sunday, August 21, Jim’s ‘leaving do’ took place, with a crowd of wellwishers and friends gathering to say farewell.
He was thanked for all that he had done for the congregation, friends and parishioners, during his time in Dalry.
Session Clerk, Alistair Todd, said: “All good wishes go with you, Jim, wife Felicity and young son Jamie.
“May the road rise to meet you; may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face.”
