TWO young men made racist comments towards three people and tried to fight them in Saltcoats.
Bradley McQueen, of Veron Street in Saltcoats, and Cole Tricker, of Winton Street in Ardrossan, both pled guilty to one charge at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
On July 3 at Vernon Street, McQueen, 20, and Tricker, 19, both pursued a racially aggravated course of conduct which amounted to harassment of a person.
The pair shouted, swore, challenged three people to a fight, made racial remarks and threw a quantity of food at them.
Sentence was deferred for reports until August 28. McQueen and Tricker were both bailed.
