THE dedicated team at North Ayrshire Foodbank have secured funding for three-years to sustain their work in supporting families during the holiday periods.
The ‘Make a meal of it’ project, which is delivered in partnership with North Ayrshire Council, is offered during the summer holidays, October break, Christmas, and Easter.
It is delivered from Ardrossan Church of the Nazarene and Ardeer Community Centre in Stevenston.
It is open to any child in education at a primary or secondary school, and any preschool siblings can attend if accompanied by a guardian with their brothers/sisters.
Anyone who wishes their child to attend should register their interest with Val at the Caley Youth Centre by phoning 01294 602027.
Children can attend on the day but places are given out to those who book and then on first come first served basis.
