A recovered addict who contacted the Herald to help him reach out to others in need has been overwhelmed with the response.
Last week, we reported that Chris Fish was a changed man, having previously lost his family and job due to a 22-year alcohol and drug addiction.
Now fully reformed, the Beith dad wanted to spread a message of hope and help others in need of direction.
In the last seven days, Chris has had at least one family contact him. He told the Herald: “I have had a mother on the phone requesting that her son receives help for his addiction. Already there is a great response from your article.
“This has enabled us to change one life at a time and one family at a time as you know, addiction effects the full family.”
