Children and adults descended on Ardrossan last week for this year’s Whitlees Community Centre Fireworks Display.
The event took place on Friday, November 3 and organisers reckon more than 1,000 people attended.
Families enjoyed hot food and drinks as they warmed themselves by the bonfire and watched the explosive display in the night sky. And, as our pictures by Herald photographer Charlie Gilmour show, there was also a selection of fairground rides and fun with sparklers.
Ruby Bacon, of Whitlees Community Centre Committee, said: “It was really good, better than last year’s. We think there was over 1,000 there.
“On our Facebook page we got a lot of good feedback. They were all saying they thought it was brilliant.”
