MAYFIELD Primary School held a brilliant Burns Supper recently, hosted by P6 and P7.
Chairpersons for the evening were Emma B and Alistair and the Piper’s Parade was led by Mr Butler.
The Address to a Haggis was ably delivered by Jenna, Holly and Alanna, while Owen performed the Selkirk Grace.
Paige delivered the Immortal Memory before the brass ensemble performed Ally Bally Bee.
Ellah-Louise, Emma and Jay performed Willie Wastle before Adam and Harry made the Toast to the Lassies. Performances from P6/7, singing Flower of Scotland, Mr Butler and then P7 singing the Jeely Piece Song followed.
The Reply to the Lads came from Hannah and Ellah-Louise and Tam O’Shanter was performed by Demi, Leo and Harry P6 performed Westering Home before the vote of thanks by Brodie, then Auld Lang Syne brought a great event to a conclusion.
