On Sunday, February 18, Beith Bowling Club played at Largs for their annual indoor outing.
25 Members attended and had a great day of bowling and fun. The men were picked up at noon by the Marbles Bus and arrived at Largs for soup and a roll. Before the games started President Warnock Longridge presented the Vice President’s Badge of Office to Derek Logue Snr.
Play lasted from 2-6pm with frequent breaks for refreshments.
After the end of play the men retired for their meal.
The winning team received a minature bottle of Chivas Regal and the same was awarded to the wooden spooners.
Vice President Derek Logue gave the vote of thanks to the caterers and bar staff for looking after them during the day.
Past President Kerr Bryson thanked Adam Calderwood for organizing the outing.
A great day out and already booked for next year.
