A MAN was taken to hospital after being serious assaulted in Saltcoats last week.
Around 9.30pm last Thursday, March 8, police attended at Glebe Place in the town and a 41-year-old male was taken to Crosshouse Hospital.
The man was the victim of a serious assault and he received an injury to the top of his head which required medical treatment.
CI Brian Shaw said: “Enquiries are ongoing into this incident as we try to find out who was responsible for causing these injuries.”
