COULD you volunteer your time and support stroke survivors in your local community?
In Ayrshire and Arran alone 10,199 people are living with the impact of a stroke, while every day in Scotland 25 people will have one.
Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) wants to make sure that everyone has the best recovery they can after a stroke.
You can volunteer with CHSS and help stroke survivors to rebuild their confidence, overcome their anxieties and live fuller lives.
Claire Bennett, Lead Rehabilitation Support Coordinator, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, said: “Our Rehabilitation Support Service enables people to get their lives back on track after a stroke.
"We provide a bridge for people so that they can return home and resume independent, active lives in the communities they live in."
If you think you could help, then CHSS wants to hear from you. Call Claire on 07918 690651 or email claire.bennett@chss.org.uk.
