SALTCOATS will be lit up again this year with the annual fireworks display next month.
The spectacular event takes place at Saltcoats Harbour on Sunday, November 4 and includes the usual stalls, fairground rides and more.
The fireworks kick off at 7.30pm, but visitors are advised to be there in plenty of time as the display is expected to be busy.
Cllr Jim Montgomerie, organiser of the display, said: “The fireworks start at 7.30pm. We’d like to tell people to be there early though because it will be very, very busy.”
Jim wished to thank Billy Mitchell, North Ayrshire Domino administrator, for his donation to the display.
Jim said: “He kindly donated £500 to the display this year. Billy and his committee support the display every year.”
